Key Role:
Provide solution configuration services and processes to meet program needs, maintain control of the baseline, and meet all program requirements. Analyze solution design and development changes to establish corresponding procedure for change control and configuration, prepare or develop configuration documentation to support the solution life cycle, communicate and coordinate with team and customer stakeholders, and review engineering change documentation and actions to ensure compliance with VA configuration management (CM) policies and procedures.
Basic Qualifications:
4 years of experience with CM and data management (DM) supporting DevOps teams and the software development life cycle, including planning, project configuration identification, change control, change and configuration control boards, change request management, status accounting, and configuration audits and reporting
4 years of experience with performing as a configuration manager for technologies, including Java Applications, AWS Cloud, and Azure Cloud in a DevOps environment
Experience with developing and documenting CM and DM procedures and ensuring compliance for VA CM policies, procedures, review cycles, instructions, and standards
Knowledge of hardware CM and project management methodologies
Ability to identify and present CM and DM process issues and solutions to team members at all levels
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field
Additional Qualifications:
4 years of experience with continuous integration tools, including Jenkins
4 years of experience with GIT and JIRA
Experience in the Federal Government, Veterans Affairs, or Healthcare IT sectors
Experience with working as a configuration manager on VA’s VistA and CPRS applications

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
